Family Values, Texas Style

In a bold move, the Houston Chronicle has come out against a proposed amendment to the Texas state constitution that would define marriage as a union of one man and one woman and ban the state of Texas from creating or recognizing any legal status "identical or similar to marriage." As stated in their editorial opposing Proposition 2: "all Texans who support true family values should vote 'No' on Proposition 2 on the November ballot."
